Singer/songwriter Martin Meyer performs soulful, mellow and entertaining acoustic music. His warm and smooth style is grounded on a sound of rich guitar tone, clean, clear, professional, vocals and tasteful harmonica. His solo acoustic sets include the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and many original songs. The late jazz great guitarist Joe Beck has noted Marty as a, “…prolific songwriter who adds depth and emotion to his work.” Marty also has been featured on local radio including I-95fm and Independent Artist Radio. He most recently wrote and recorded a song, “What Would I Do?” for The Goldstar Family Foundation. Marty’s performance style is not loud and overpowering but rather subtle and inviting. He is a musician who attracts a crowd and holds their attention. After seeing Marty perform you wonder if Marty is playing for the crowd or is the crowd playing for Marty? His latest CD titled "Look Inside" a collection of ten new songs is near completion and will be available in the spring of 2009.
