Flash The Band are an unsigned fab fivesome from the Wirral. They are an unashamedly uncompromising progressive, funk rock band who plays with the maturity that belies their teenage years. There sound is a fusion of many different bands, though think of a fusion between Led Zeppelin, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Pink Floyd. Their seventies ancestry of their sound is clearly heard when performed live, and their boundless energy is clear to see as their live gigs often resemble a wrestling tag team match. They have won their colleges battle of the bands and have played numerous gigs, including, The Zanzibar, The Bumper, The Cavern and pacific roads theatre. They are also scheduled to be playing many other prestigious venues including a Barfly or two, The Magnet and The Pacific Roads Battle of the Bands which they hope to do well in. They have also had radio coverage on Pulse rated radio, the largest underground music radio in the U. K and have a large fan base on myspace.
