Ok a little bit more about me, ok you have the coffee to hand, you might need it LOL
Am 45 years young, was 45 in June yuk!! all my own hair and teeth. brown hair, blue eyes!! intelligent well an IQ of 120, if thats intelligence LOL, gsoh, still single and not looking to change that scenario in the short term, been near a couple times, but hey, thats water under the bridge, so I have been warned ;-).
Was born in Nottingham (thats in the UK, for those that don't know the UK.....its that little insignificant little speck of an island west of mainland Europe - that was for my little american friends lol) in the swinging 60's LOL remember that decade? if you do, you weren't there then were you lol, spent most of my childhood and growing up in Derbyshire, hence my affiliation to Derby County and NOT Forest now those are football teams for those that not in the know and are not into football, for those in the US that means soccer! LOL.
Have since lived in Southern France, Ireland, US, now back in good ole blighty, have been back in the UK since the mid 90's.
My interests.....well, apart from supporting the above team through thick and thin, hopefully the good times are back, now that we are back in our rightful place in the premiership lol.
I also love travelling, meeting new friends, mixing with you new cultures, all part of my education still......never too old to learn new tricks me...have been to such far off and exotic places that have included pretty much of Europe, N. America (Boston, New York, Cleveland, Atlanta, St Louis, pretty much all of Florida, etc...some of the Middle East, but on my horizons now is SE Asia, such as China, Japan, Hong Kong and Malaysia etc..
Am a bit of a culture vulture, love finding out about how the other side live and breathe, am not much of a sun, sea and sangria man LOL.
History is another hobbyhorse of mine, goes hand in hand with the travelling interest I suppose.
Love going to the Theatre + Cinema, well one does need a bit of hollywood escapism from time to time.
Music, well my eclectic collection varies from Abba to ZZ Top, just love hearing good music,am looking forward to my next annual pilgrimage to Guilfest 2007, love seeing music when its live and in your face. Theres a great little pub in Windsor that put on some good live bands, its an old ticket hall next to the station, but now has been converted to a eatery and live venue for music, mainly tribute bands I hasten to add.....but some are very good indeed, better than the originals sometimes. And no, the Queen has not been seen in their yet lol.
Cooking, am a dab hand in the kitchen as well as other rooms LOL.
Reading, am bit of a Sci Fi fantasist like Tolkien, Lawhead etc....
My PC, I run a couple of MSN Web groups on Football. Play Golf (Badly), Badminton (OK)
I work for a local IT company in sales, have been in IT for about 25 years now.
