Dalis was discovered by Grammy Award winning producer and mix engineer Joe Chiccarelli, who has worked with an impressive group of artists including Elton John, U2, Bon Jovi and Melissa Etheridge. Chiccarelli assembled a who’s who list of musicians to create Dalis’s anticipated freshman album “burn.” The collection offers a journey through the textured, endearing songs that Dalis symbolizes. “Dalis exposes you to her intimate narrative and delicate melodies with a voice that examines the darker sides of being human.” Her quiet shyness is overshadowed only by her charismatic intensity on stage and her intelligent lyrics about love, life and loss. “burn” includes brilliant musical performances by drummer Brain (Guns and Roses, Chris Isaak), guitarists Joe Gore (Tracy Chapman, PJ Harvey) and Lyle Workman (Sting, Jessica Simpson, Anna Nalick). Born in a small Midwest town, Dalis began studying classical piano at the age of 8. She continued her musical pursuit through classical venues, quietly brewing her own musical style and grace. Dalis taught herself guitar and began constructing her emotional writings into musical pieces. After years of fear and insecurity, Dalis finally introduced herself as a performing singer/songwriter to an audience of welcoming arms. Quickly, she received attention from music critics, record companies and has created a devoted following.
