Biography
Nate Israel's Bio Nathaniel Israel (DLight) was born in Atlanta, Georgia in Fulton County August 14, 1978. That day was the beginning of Nate's musical mind. When he was between four and five years old, he remembers his dad and the band practicing long and hard every day. All he wanted to do was play in the band. He would sit alone and try to play the guitar, but he discovered the piano suited him better. He never had formal music lessons, yet he learned to play piano by ear; composing songs from his soul. His musical idols include Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Usher, Alicia Keys, Boney James and George Duke. He listens to a variety of music: alternative, classical, hip-hop and in between. All music that he listens to for his own personal enjoyment must be pleasing to him. Jesus Christ is his super hero. Without Christ as his Savior and Lord, Nate feels he would not be the strong, persevering man, striving for perfection in his art. His number one lady is his mother. God chose her and blessed her to nurture the dreams of her offspring. Nate's desire is to build cars with his son. While enjoying time with his son, he also wants to make sure his son learns positive values and life skills to make him a good man. His long term goal is to become an electrical engineer. He also wants to assist men, women and children who are in crisis by providing havens for them. He sends praises to his Lord and Jesus Christ. He says thanks to his mom and family.
