Paul "Big Dawg" Johnson began his musical career as a teenager studying guitar and engaging in various genres of music including Blues, Country, Rock, and Alternative styles. Big Dawg blended his unique style of guitar playing with lyrics that come from experiencing life's hard lessons. Growing up in Tennessee, the musical influences for Big Dawg were abundant. From Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton to ZZ Top and Jimmie Hendrix, Big Dawg learned from the greats and soon incorporated a little of each into a genuine alternative blues style that belongs solely to Paul "Big Dawg" Johnson.
