Rayn was born into a family of musicians and has been singing and playing guitar since childhood. Encouraged by other singer/songwriters and musicians, she has spent the last two years writing and performing her songs in the L.A./Ventura County area. Her music and lyrics are described as "haunting and melodic", "poignant and engaging". As one musician described: "She crosses a classical style of guitar playing with a tricky little Travis pick".
