BIOGRAPHY [1990-96] First appears on the scene as the keyboardist and the lead-singer of ......"Les Meduses......" and as backup-keyboardist and lead vocalist for other bands including ......"Les Shifters......", ......"Aznia bout......' bout......' Yaparem......".. this gives her the opportunity to play in diverse internationally recognized venues such as ......"Le Bikini......" -Toulouse-, ......"Le New Morning......" -Paris-, ......"CBGB......'s......" -NYC-, ......"Heaven and Hell......" -Washington DC-.. [1996] Is the year that Skye meets up with Planet Generation Global Move [http://www.planetgeneration.org] and begins her carrier in electronic music as a sound engineer and musician. Planet Generation Global Move indoctrinates Skye into the world of electronic live performances in clubs, festivals, free Parties, and live streaming concerts (Shanti festival -Tokyo-, Klub Cube -Tokyo-, Main d......'Oeuvres -Paris-) Skye also pursues collaborative projects independently with bands and artists such as Mafucage, Dr Floy, Gnawi, Japanese, Tahitian, Haitian traditional artists, Samia Yayaoui , and many Djs of the electronic French Scene [cf: CDs/LPs/DVD released PG2M : ......"Hyper Eros......", ......"Rastafari......", ......"El Nino......", ......"No Fashion......"] [1999] San Francisco Reggae Artists welcome Skye and she works as backup-keyboardist for : ......"Sister I live......", ......"Donny Rasta & Roots vibrations......", ......"Ishmael & the Peacemakers......", and for several R&B Artists on the Dover Soul Production Label. [2001] Returning to the French music scene as backup-keyboardist for Moonlight -a Haitian traditional singer- and also plays West African Drums with Fode Diame (djembe-player of Curcuma) This is also a time for Collaboration as the composer and arranger on several live performances with French electronic artists. [2006] skYELEktrA starts the independent music label Music4VIP and produces her first album ......"Bypass Op........" in collaboration with by Dj Prisce de Cockroach [2007-08] Skye's electroclash live-act starts the spark and the word of mouth that will eventually lead to gigs around Europe [Poland, Croatia, DanemarK, Deutchland, Spain and France] Fresh Back from the tour, skYELEktrA opens her musical box of tricks and scales andsets her sites on other collaborative projects including remixes with artists: Deprogram, Kaldosh, Zarkoff…the list and adventures continues on the Music4VIP label.
