Yeah, pretty much a pure pop song with an interesting structure.
The vocal is out of my range, so I asked my friend Jonathon Newby to sing it. Not only did he sing the HELL out of it, but he created an entire brilliant vocal arrangement!
And, let's not forget the rhythm section: how abou that bass line from Steve Siculan? And the great jazzy drums from Dave Kling?
And Nils St. Cyr on lead guitar, ladies and gents!!!

1.
She draws me in and strings me out
Gives me something to feel bad about
But ooohhh...
That's nothing new
She ties me up and drags me down
She's my Cathy, I'm her clown
But oooohhh
She does tricks too
So I'll still follow her around
2.
Every step I take causes bones to break
I never knew my knees could quake so easy
It makes me queasy
But I'll still follow her around
- c -
BECAUSE SHE'S MAGNETIC, AND I'M PATHETIC
I GAVE IT AWAY, BUT I WON'T REGRET IT
IT'S NOT EVERY DAY YOU FIND THE PAIN THAT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR
-solo-
3.
I fall at her feet and she breaks my back
By stepping on, then stepping back around
I love that cracking sound
So I'll still follow her around
- c -
BECAUSE SHE'S MAGNETIC AND I'M PATHETIC
I GAVE IT AWAY BUT I WON'T REGRET IT
IT'S NOT EVERY DAY YOU FIND THE PAIN THAT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR
SHE TIES ME UP AND DRAGS ME DOWN
SHE'S MY CATHY AND I'M HER CLOWN
IT'S NOT EVERY DAY YOU FIND THE PAIN THAT YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR.....
