A song from back in my Band days that I recorded as one of my Solo efforts (as TJDP). Lyrics are open to your interpretation. Different people get different meanings from it, would be interested in knowing what YOU get from it!
Recorded in 2 different studios, first at Mariah Sound Studios with Rod Parker where he and I laid down basic tracks, then at Artist Relief Studios with Lesley Jane where he added additional guitars and my vocals.
Years later I dubbed in another vocal track and here it is.
Performed and Produced By Jayson Dyall, Rod Parker and Lesley Jane.

Blood Rushing
words and music by Jayson Dyall c.1991
Make it go away
Oh I'm so tired now, I'm so tired now
Make it go away
My head is hurting me, my eyes are burning me
Help me if you can, I can not take this pain
Help me see it through, I want to live again
Take this nightmare away
Recurring every night, but wide awake I lie
Monsters in my head
Causing me much fright, causing so much fright
Help me if you can, don't leave me here alone
Help me make it through, I'm in the danger zone
The agony lies in my bed
Beside me keeping me awake
Its words keep burning in my head
Designed to put my sanity at stake
I can not understand
The insecurities inside of me
I wish I'd never have to face them
Please help me find reality
Make it go away
Oh I'm so tired now, I'm so tired now
How long before I break
My heart is pounding hard, my blood is rushing, rushing
Help me if you can, I can not take this pain
Take my tears away, cold blood rush through my veins
(Break)
The misery glows in my room
Burns in my head, seething my eyes
I'm helpless and I'm paralyzed
By fears that generates inside
I can not kill the beasts
That feeds on my soul and won't let go
I wish that I could fight and smite them
But with each blow the creatures grow
Take this nightmare away
Recurring every night, but wide awake I lie
Monsters in my head
Causing me much fright, causing so much fright
Help me make it through these troubled times
Help me regain control of my own mind
Make it go away
Oh I'm so tired now, so tired now
How long before I break
My heart is beating fast, my blood is rushing, rushing
Blood Rushing, rushing
Blood Rushing, rushing
Blood Rushing, rushing
Blood Rushing, rushing.....
