Baby Let's Go was originally written and entered in this years American Idol Season 7 Songwriters Contest because they had a little edgier show with rockers in the line-up, so we took a chance and wrote a dynamic rock song that would make a great single and commercial hit instead of the typical, cliched pageant-type songs they're known for.
This song had a life of it's own, the original track was recorded in December around the holidays but Kath got the lead vocals and lyrics in a 2-hour burst of inspiration.
