"What begins is an echo-laden guitar bellowing a buildup in which drummer Charlie Henschen’s hypnotic trance beat and Daniel Sheron’s ferocius guitar clash together like two titans sharing a six-pack. The tones and drums remind me of an early Nirvana/Silverchair combination meeting The Faint. The dance grooves are there, courtesy of bass player Charlie Freundlich’s contrapuntal basslines. Garage rock and dance rock meet in the middle and The Dead Jettsons craft both genres flawlessly."

Well there’s a place in the city
The girls ‘aint so pretty
Oh they’re just alive
But at the heart of the matter
It seems that the latter
Is breakin’ down
(tongue tied, mortified, starin’ at the scene outside)
Try to see,
no one’s alive that’s free,
it’s got nothing to do with me
Try to find
A little peace of mind
But that’s not easy to find
Goin’ to the city
Where it seems so very fitting
That you peel away from me
Runnin’ through the alley
Can’t find Sally
What? She’s gone away from me
Tearin up the knees of the car’s on empty streets
My cares, it wears, it tears at me
Doing what your sayin’
Maybe blaring through the days but
I”VE GOT A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING
We’re movin’ out to the country
We aint got no money,
Oh but we survive
We get dressed up in salmon
Act like it’s a famine
Just to catch your eye
(tongue tied, suicide, get up out the scene outside)
