Moriba and I playing a song we wrote together about Dombondir Festival in the Casamance region of Senegal

Kora - Moriba Kuyateh, Flute - Chandra Moon, guitar and arrangement - Daouda Camara

This annual festival takes place in the Casamance region of South Senegal - visited by very few foreigners we were privileged to play and help at the festival. On the way home we were feeling nostalgic about leaving and wrote the song in the car.

It was mixed in a little studio in Gambia where the power goes on and off and although it's a very imperfect version it's the best shot at a recording!

Moriba and I wrote this song on a visit to the Dombondir Festival in the Casamance region of Senegal a few years ago. This is an imperfect but nostalgic recording from that lovely day.
