fiogf49gjkf0d Well, I used to be a mailman
I used to carry mail
I used to drive a white truck
Wear a blue suit
And a mailbag
I used to carry mail
But I'm gonna be a hitman
I'm gonna go far
I'm gonna wear a black suit
Gonna drive a black car
Cause I'm gonna be the bad guy
Wearin' a black tie
Givin' you a black eye
I'm gonna turn this town
Upside down
I'm a wise guy
I'm gonna be a hitman
I used to be a rodeo clown
I used to carry mail
I used to wear a red nose
And a colored wig
And big red shoes
I used to carry mail
But I'm gonna be a hitman
I'm gonna go far
I'm gonna wear a black suit
Gonna play this black guitar
Cause I'm gonna be the bad guy
Wearin' a black tie
Givin' you a black eye
I'm gonna cut off your hand
And mail it to your mom
I'm a wise guy
I'm gonna be a hitman
I used to watch Fame on TV
Fame
I'm gonna live forever
When you're a jet
You're a jet all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dying day
I said fame
I'm gonna live forever
Uno! Dose! Tres! Quatro!
I'm gonna be a hitman
I'm gonna go far
I'm gonna wear a black suit
Gonna drive a big black car
Cause I'm gonna be the bad guy
Wearin' a black tie
Givin' you a black eye
I'm gonna turn this town
Upside down
I'm a wise guy
I'm gonna be a hitman

My friend Jason and I decided to record this for one of our closest friends in the world: James Avallone. James wrote this song a few years back while touring the Meditteranean on a boat full of marines. I believe it was 1999 or 2000. Anyway, when he played it for me a couple years ago I just thought it was the greatest. He hadn't recorded it so I made him teach it to me because I needed this song in my life. From what Jason tells me, they had a similar experience. He made James show him how to play it. So one day Jason and I are sitting around playing guitar and trying to figure out what songs we both know and we realize we both know Hitman! It became a big hit at the parties. Always requested in our most drunken moments. So this year we decided to finally give back to James the way he gave to us by recording his song for him for Christmas. Well, he loves it. And we do too. I hope you do as well. Enjoy please!
