I wanted to write something for my girl and couldn't find the right instrumental. I actually started writing on two or three other tracks and either didn't finish or didn't end up liking the sound. After I heard this beat I knew that this was it. The Stones are one of my favorites bands and the mix for the verses is incredible in my opinion. And the chorus I found moving... even though her names not Angie. I wrote and recorded this track in one sitting it didn't even take me that long because I was so inspired.
One of my favorite pieces lyrically. I feel like the wordplay is good with decent imagery and although my flow isn't usually a strong suit on an emotional piece like this I felt like it's pretty on point here.
