If a wish on a star were true what I’d give to visit you again
And though the pain is dulled, you’ll never lose it all
The ones you loved the most have gone away
Oh I still miss you so, it was so hard to see you go
Those many years ago gone by
Can I wish you’d see me again?
Just for a moment I’d pretend
To look upon your face and then I’d smile
In the end we all go away, but in the time we’re here to stay
It’s so hard to speak of those we’ve loved ..and say
You were oh so dear to me, why’d you have to leave early?
Not finish living to a ripe old age?
If a wish on a star were true what I’d give to visit you again
And though the pain is dulled, you’ll never lose it all
The ones you loved the most have gone away
Oh I still miss you so, it was so hard to see you go
Those many years ago gone by
Can I wish you’d see me again?
Just for a moment I’d pretend
To look upon your face and then I’d smile
In the end we all go away, but in the time we’re here to stay
It’s so hard to speak of those we’ve loved ..and say
You were oh so dear to me, why’d you have to leave early?
Not finish living to a ripe old age?
If a wish on a star were true what I’d give to visit you again
