LAID BACK LIFE I was born in China and have faint recollections of being the neighborhood tomboy, and memories of singing into a make-shift microphone (which was really a marker) while entertaining whoever would pay attention. I moved to the US at the age of 5, and began living the stereo-typical Asian/American life of focusing on good grades, learning to play classical piano, and proceeding to college to become anything other than an artist. Thank God I started listening to the voices in my head (though sometimes, they drive me crazy) and finally began living my own life instead of having someone else tell me how to live it (even if that “someone else” may have been my parents. Sorry Mom and Dad, but I still love you both!)
