A rowdy, sing-a-long, Irish pub kind of song, complete with penny whistle solo.

I was thinking about how the band that kept playing as the Titanic was sinking were the most hard core musicians ever! That's so rock'n'roll! I wondered what was going through their minds.

We're the band on the Titanic
And it seems we're going down
But, we're gonna have some fun before it's
Over
Now, there is no need to panic
But, we'll very likely drown
And I tells ya we ain't going
Sober
There's champagne, and beer, and whiskey
And you never have to pay
And the Tuba player's spring some
Reefer
So, pass that thing around
Cuz we'll very likely drown
Let's play faster, the boat's sinkin'
Deeper
Well, I guess I've always known
That every man is born to die
And, it's lookin' like today will be my
Day-o
Oh, I wish I had another chance
To kiss me girl goodbye
How she'll wish I'd-a never gone
Away-o
We're the band on the Titanic
And we don't get paid enough
We all thought this would be
A vacation
But, we're gonna keep on playing
Cuz we're made of sterner stuff
And, the Lord waits with our compensation
And the songs that we'll be playin'
Will be songs of hope and love
With no solos, we've no time for
Dilly-dally
And, if someone feels like prayin'
To the Maestro up above
Tell him - please, let us reach the
Finale
