This song will stay in your head, whether you like it or not. It is irresistably catchy, even though its subject is controversial.

I saw some young Muslim women with their heads covered and I thought, Does God really care about petty little things like that? Hasn't He/She got bigger things to worry about? I believe that God is beyond all human comprehension and exists in everything, the good and the bad. God certainly doesn't "care" about all the little rituals and great actions that are done in His/Her name. I know this is going to push some buttons, but that's just how I feel and I think it's important to write about your own truths.

God don't care if you cover your head
If you cross your heart
Or you bury your dead
You can keep all the prayers that might've been said
Because God don't care
God don't care from hour to hour
If you crash an airplane into a tower
Cuz She makes the milk fresh
And she makes the milk sour, you see
God don't care
He is all of the good
And the bad as well
She's the saints and the sinners
She's in heaven and hell
If you think you can talk to him
You're under a spell
It's a much bigger story
Than a Bible could tell, you see
God don't care
God don't care
God don't care if you're straight or you're gay
If you make a fortune
Or you give it away
You won't rise up to meet him on the judgment day
because God don't care
If I choose to live a life
That is all about love
It's for you and not for
The heaven above
I will love my neighbors and my enemies too
Cuz it's all about me
And it's all about you, but
God don't care
God don't care
