An acoustic version of a song I wrote a few years ago. My friend Bob Elliott encouraged me to record it with just two mics into one channel, so it's got a very live feel. I think it works best this way.

We can all change the world - it's in our power, and we do it a little all the time.

I don't hold you to blame
And you know it's not a game, not a game
I just want everyone
To feel the same
As far as I'm concerned
I still have
Lots to learn, lots to learn
I just want everyone
To feel the burn
Whether it's you
Whether it's me
Someone's got to change the world
Make it all new
Make it all free
Find yourself a reason to believe
But love is all we need
You might not understand
But I'm no holy man, holy man
I just want everyone
To hold my hand
I can lay out on the street
A loving carpet for your feet, for your feet
I just want everyone
To be complete
