Pop meets folk meets country meets passive-aggressive break-up.

A song about moving out and on from a living situation and relationship - frankly, inspired by being very annoyed at having to pack, load and move boxes alone.
So it has come down to this:
Suitcases, divided trinkets;
all of these boxes to move.
Today I'm going to extract myself from you

but I am stopped in the bathroom
halted by razors we shared, which one was mine?
I cave and take your shampoo
and now for months I am going to smell like you

I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to be long gone
I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to forget about you

My towel is there next to yours,
hung on the back of that now familiar door.
Because I know you will hate it,
I drop it damp in the laundry basket

Promising silver rings -
I leave them empty on a shelf.
I rifle through jewellery drawers -
yours, mine. Mine? Yours?

I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to be long gone
I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to forget about you

You said "I guess my heart wasn't in it"
I said "I guess mine was"
I guess mine was
clawing for solid walls
I guess mine was

I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to be long gone
I just can't wait to be out of here
I just can't wait to forget about you
forget about you
