I was seeing this guy a while ago and really liked him. So, I decided to "break the rules" of dating and agree to see him on both Friday and Saturday night of the same weekend. Well, Friday came along and he called and canceled: cited work obligations. Then Saturday came along and I got the same call. I wrote this song on Sunday. The end of the story is that we ended up getting married and now have our first child together.
