Whut U Made Of?! We ask the qusetion to each other, to ourselves, and to the listener. What makes you do as you do? are you following that dream inside you? do you enjoy what it is that makes you? or do you just simply exist? We were running Hip Hop workshops in a school out in Hermannsberg (West of Alice Springs) and the school supplied us with a keyboard, neither of us had ever really played around with one, I'm more of a sample producer, and Dee had never really made a beat, but we put our heads together and banged out the music, and the lyrics just seemed to flow pretty naturally, we both wanted to do an introspective joint, talk about our dreams and ambitions, talk about the fact that hip hop was becoming a career rather than a hobby to us, stoked that were able to make a decent wage doin what we love.

Verse 1: McDee whilst on route the dream that I'm chasing, on loop is the beat of my ticker's pulsations, the combination of my strength and passion is the product of my vivid imagination, imagine infinite equations symbolizing daily basis situations, my actions advocate the interaction of my mind, body and soul to resolve all inaction, enabling change and to attain innovation, set the stage ready for the main attraction, adaption, dedication to emancipate pages of eloquent elation and misery, all the listener percieves is what is spoken, how many MC's do you know from the inside out? not enough to know the truth is coming out their mouth, huh? you just like the way they flowin, no one knows the pros and cons opposed to what you know is wrog, the heart you where upon your sleeve was probably sewed on, individualism is living inside of my poetry in motion, omens aplenty, good and bad, balance is necessity, embrace moments of clarity, individuality comes from within it's your reality, so what you made of? ask yourself and know your dream is only what you make of it and time shall tell Chorus 1: Dan the Underdog It's what you love, it's what you hate, but when push comes to shove, it'll always be the dream that you decided to create, so when you pump the breaks or pick up the pace, it's only what you make of it McDee: So what you made of? Verse 2: Dan the Underdog I'm made up of many things, there's a fire internally burning permanently, I got more heart than anything, that's why I work to achieve and I'm unconcerned with defeat, I have a yearning to assertively speak words that are certain to me or I feel personally, I'll be the first to concede I follow a similar dream to many persons I meet, but I don't follow like sheep, I got my own shit, sometimes I'm so engulfed in my beats I often feel like I barely even follow the scene the way I used to, I'm from a generation of babies that was made in the 80's sayin Hip Hop raised me, Hip Hop made me fuckin crazy enough to try to make it in a marketplace already a flood, I wouldn't do it if I didn't love to do what I does, so when they tell me I can't make it I just say it's what you make of it, so how you figure that your makin it? Because you dress up in your fathers shirt get in your car and go to work, so how you feel when you wakin up? do you love your job and all its perks or do it make you go beserk? What was that dream job you wanted when you was a squirt? most of us ain't in it cause reality it fuckin hurts, I have a fear that I'm a wake up in a fuckin hearse never having rocked a coliseum with a fuckin verse, I ain't exactly where I thought I'd be at 22, life is like a Rubix Cube but hell I got the truest crew, a girl that's beautiful and followers who put me in they favorites so when they say that I can't make it, I just say it's what you make of it Chorus 2: McDee It's what you love, it's what you hate, but when push comes to shove, it'll always be the dream that you decided to create, so when you pump the breaks or pick up the pace, it's only what you make of it Dan the Underdog: So what you made of? x
