This song is inspired by Pastor Bob Thomas of First Grace Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Brother Thomas had been a great source of comfort, a good friend, and always reached out to me; even in those times when certainly was not worth it.

He's Gone Home
The eulogy was read today a real good friend has gone away
Gone to meet the one he lived his life to see
He’ll walk through heavens gates and behold the King of Kings
From the pulpit a warrior for the cross he gave his life to God to reach out to the lost
Don't you cry because he hasn't said goodbye he's gone home
(Chorus)
He’s gone home to be with Jesus
He’s gone home to meet his King
He’s waiting there to greet us, at his Savior’s feet
His pain is gone and I know He’s not alone, as he kneels before God’s throne
This is what he shared, and I know we’ll see him there, he’s gone home
I never will forget the day, I walked in and needed him to pray
He put my mind at ease as he took m by the hand
He said I’ve been there too so I’d know he understands
The he said the road you’re on seems empty dark and long, but still you’re not alone
I’m here today, because he has shown the way, he’s gone home
This is what he shared and I can’t wait to see him there, he’s gone home
