This is a song for anyone who has ever been in a complicated love relationship, where your head tells you it's best to let it be, but your heart won't abide.

This song was a rare write in that it all came out in literally one night.

The seed was planted long ago, and it grew and it grows, and it grows everyday, even when you are away. I see you more than before, still I never know for sure if it's real or a dream, I guess it's somewhere in between. I have known you in my dreams, felt your breath upon my face, kissed your mouth and it's okay, sun comes up, you fade away. And I loved you long ago, long before we ever met, it's just a feeling that I get, like the stage was always set. We're the same, you and me. I understand the way you speak. We talk in melody and beat, a conversation so complete. And it's pathetic, you'd agree, the kind of hold you've got on me. Better I should know by now, but I love you anyhow. You say it could never be, and if you ask me I'd agree, but where does that leave you and me? Always somewhere in between. Well if it hasn't happened yet, then it never will I guess, best to lay this all to rest, better not to make a mess. But if you ever change your mind, I'll be waiting to change mine, like the moon pulls at the sea, so you've got that pull on me.
