'Someday I'm Gonna Shine' is one of my most favorite 'feels' or meters, for a song. I love the ol' country shuffles like you hear on songs by Ray Price, Asleep At The Wheel, etc. The music on this song perfectly compliments the mood created by the lyrics.

Like all of the songs on my cd, The Big House On Gold Street, this one was written while I was in prison. It's really just an expression of the assurance I have that in the end everything's gonna' be just fine.
