I have a crush on Margot Adler. Natch.

Dreamt that Margot Adler appeared on a French TV show devoted to neo-pagan songwriters. Phone-in callers had a hard time understanding her point. Or points, as I seem to recall she had many. I understood her perfectly, even in her dreadful dream-French. This song is, obviously, the result. (How the paroled man with an ankle bracelet factors in is for posterity to decide.) Also, shout out to Baha'is, as militant Iranian conservative Arabs continues to execute their forward-looking, world-unity asses.

Margot Adler on French TV
She's singing songs that mean anything
Turn down the sound
The world's too loud
In my ear there's a constant ring
Any day now I will be released
But parole ain't what it's cracked up to be
I leave my house to go steppin' out
But I wear a radio at my feet.
Jews and Christians and Baha'u-La
Campaign my brain to be my god
but I lost faith in the human race
I've slowly come to accept my lot
No use talking to the telephone
No use calling on the cell-o-phone
Personality reduced to a tone
Can't everyone just leave it alone
Leave it alone
