La­ven­der is a young Sin­ger-Song­wri­ter En­sem­ble, foun­ded by the three sis­ters Anouk, Flo­ort­je and Car­li­jn, ear­ly 2009. They bring their own mu­sic and ly­rics in a re­mar­ka­ble cros­s­o­ver bet­ween fol­k/blues and pop wi­th their own unique si­gna­tu­re. ­They ra­pidly gathered a lar­ge group of fan­s and per­for­med in se­ver­al fa­mous lo­ca­ti­ons li­ke the Schif­fen­ber­g, The Ci­ty-Fes­ti­val, the Boots­haus, Tu­erm­chen and Ulen­spie­gel in Gies­sen, Ger­ma­ny. T­his song "I am ok" was re­cor­ded du­ring their Win­ter con­cert in the Ulen­spie­gel. They play­ed in their small unplugged formation wi­th Mar­kus Wach (Con­tra­ bas­s), Anouk (vo­cals and acoustic Gui­tar), Flo­ort­je and Car­li­jn (vo­cals and per­cus­sion). On other occasions they play with the full sextett together with Jörg Do­brick (drum­s, percussion) and Pe­ter Bon­gard (pia­no, key­s). Its a keeper in a jazzy pop way, with a little and r and B groove going on too , it goes long ways to smooth out your day, and say to yourself, I am ok. soul induced r and b vibe more then blues but its great music, vibilicous y'all the Vibe digs it. nice one
