I think just a story about a guy who kind of fancies a new girl in his life. And it reminds him of past loves.

One more reason to settle down is all I need to hear,that's the cause and that's the fear for all I've been doing.
If she ever told me she wants just to control me then I, I'd go down there.
And that's the way that it use to be my friends, holding hands and loving everyday, well I think I've tried my mind out to the test it felt like I was crying.

And now I know that I'm slowly getting past the desperation that I had, take a walk down on that land together, feeling warmer by the minute.
