A humble song about innocence. The hero of the song is waiting to be 'born' but he is able to see the world through his mother's eyes. Put on your headphones and float away for 3 minutes and 18 seconds.

I started this song one day and had forgotten about it for several months. After loading it up and listening to the first verse, I decided to keep going on it to see where it would take me. The song went through many revisions, however the guitar solo/break is what made the song stick. I hope you enjoy it.

Where Do We Go
Words and Music by Robert Jansen

Where do I go?
When the moon doesn't show.
Inside the womb the candles glow
through your eyes and into mine
I've got a ways to go
'Til I begin to grow
it's been one hell of a show
and I'm not even me,
So please deliver me.
Deliver me home.
My home.
I hope everything is how I left
like Rome's old bones,
Through the eyes of painted stones,
I see.
Solo
Where do we go?
On my knees, I beg to know
If we can share, then we can grow
If you're receiving me,
please believe in me.
Believe in me whole,
My soul, I hope everything is how I left
No kings and no thrones
From the wombs of life,
We're born, torn free.
