Ragged hulls and china dolls
Lie crumbling on the shore

BEFORE YOU CLOSED THE DOOR
Roses red in crystal beds
Are blooming in a row
Waiting for a Medusa
To turn them into stone
Now I'm trying not to remember
But still it haunts me as clearly
As an open book
Your lingering look
Before you closed the door
Sailing boats which cannot float
Are shipwrecked in the storm
Ragged hulls and china dolls
Lie crumbling on the shore
Waiting for the Hammer of Thor
To make them whole once more
Now I'm trying not to remember
But still it haunts me as clearly
As an open book
Your lingering look
Before you closed the door
Roses seeds in crystal beads
Are dying to be born
Supermarts of broken hearts
Have sold out by the dawn
Hoping for the long lost chance
To glimpse their dream once more
Now I'm trying not to remember
But still it haunts me as clearly
As an open book
Your lingering look
Before you closed the door
Before you closed the door
