How do you say it with words?

GOLDEN CHARIOT
How do you say it with words
If the lines
Tumble off the edge of the world
And won't rhyme
How do you say it with words
If you're shut
Like a shop on a cold evening street
All closed up
Now say what you want
Make it now
And say what you need
Say it loud
I ain't easy with words
Always holding on
A river that flows to the sea
For this love I long
How do you paint it with words
When the sun
She's hidden behind the clouds
And won't come out
And how do you sketch it with words
If you're dry
Like a tree 'neath a hot desert sky
That won't cry
Now say what you want
Make it now
And say what you need
Say it loud
I ain't easy with words
Always holding on
A river that flows to the sea
For this love I long
If a tap could be twist
I would turn it on
Verses of emerald and pearl
Seems just like Shakespeare in love
And you will ride in on a Golden Chariot
My heart skips when you sing
Oh so much
When you singing in morning sunlight
Straight from the heart
But how do I paint you with words
If my brush
Has mixed all the colours again
In its rush
Now say what you want
Make it loud
And say what you need
Say it now
I ain't easy with words
Always holding on
A river that flows to the sea
For this love I long
