SUZIE
Pack up your long black dress
And your sunny day smiles
In your red suitcase
I think of you way too much
It's got me caught in a bind
So I booked a seat for you this afternoon
I'm spring cleaning out my mind
Now take that ticket to the station
And climb the platform, don't look back
At 4.15 today, I watched the train take you away
But when the people and the steam all clear
You're still standing there
Suzie!
Your face is so beautiful
Your soul so alive
I still can't believe you're true
But I love you way too much
It's tearing me apart
So I booked a seat for you this afternoon
I'm spring cleaning out my heart
Now take that ticket to the station
And climb the platform, don't look back
At 4.15 today, I watched the train take you away
But when the people and the steam all clear
You're still standing there
Suzie!
