SPINNING AROUND
I once met three sisters in a shack out in the woods
The youngest was adorable and lively
The next one was exactly like the first but all grown up
She looked at me with deep brown eyes so lovely
The oldest sister she was working all the time
Told me I was too broke to be her Valentine
And when I got too close she put a tablet in my wine
I woke up sore at half past four and
Crawled back home again
Spinning around with your love!
The next day I did spy while I was strumming my guitar
The second sister peeking through my palings
The youngest one was also there, perched up on a branch
And to my melodies I heard her singing
We started laughing, and dancing in the sun,
Until the second sister's heart, I knew that I had won
But guess who turned up then to put an end to all the fun!
She cursed and swore and swore some more and
Took them home again
Spinning around with your love!
