SUMMER BIRD
Summer bird I found you
All broken on the snow
I scooped you up and cradled you
And gently took you home
And now the winter's waning
I see your strength has grown
So I take you out, uncup my hands
Look up and watch you go
And you rise on a wing
Then you ride high upon the sultry breeze
Til the summer that you bring is over
And as you soar above the mountains
I turn and wave goodbye
Until at last you disappear
Into the deep blue sky
And you rise on a wing
Then you ride high upon the sultry breeze
Til the summer that you bring is over
