THROUGH THE NIGHTCAP RANGE
When I’m feeling down and weary, and need a blissful change
I grab my knapsack, and an old branch for a cane
And it lifts my spirits greatly, so much I can’t explain
When I go walking through the Nightcap Range
From the Minyon Falls escarpment, with its breathtaking terrain
To the beauty of Mount Nardi, and right through this wild domain
I see mosses, trees and creatures, so colourful and strange
When I go walking through the Nightcap Range
Yeah the waterholes, with their peaceful souls
Are quite enough to mend this broken head
As I turn, the golden sunshine streams through the vines untamed
Enigmatic shadow form, and as the daylight wanes
The forest starts to bustle, below cockatoo refrains
When I go walking through the Nightcap Range
