TOY MONKEY
Toy Monkey, tie your bow
There in the gloom you glow
Make me music with your mime
With your toy monkey hands
Wind up that jukebox canned
Play your movie with its rhyme
When the Titanic's gold sunk with swirling spins
To the ecstatic hold of its Silver Twins
The race was on to see which they could revive
And while ceramic crowns slipped from celtic kings
Sacrificial doves on the Stonehenge rings
Renounced the deal and took off to the sky
Toy Monkey, stop the show
Turn off that radio
I can't stand the bleeding sound
Polish your gold wristbands
Twirl on your wooden stand
Clash your cymbals til they drown
And while ceramic crowns slipped from celtic kings
Sacrificial doves on the Stonehenge rings
Renounced the deal and took off to the sky
Toy Monkey, leap and land
At your toy piano grand
And sing your ditty one more time
When the Titanic's gold sunk with swirling spins
To the ecstatic hold of its Silver Twins
The race was on to see which they could revive
And while ceramic crowns slipped from celtic kings
Sacrificial doves on the Stonehenge rings
Renounced the deal and took off to the sky
