AURORA LIGHTS
Across the southern sky
There swirls a ghostly fire
To help you on when it gets dark
Through each valley lost
Above each river crossed
It shines the path til daybeak sparks
Oh oh oh, when the North sun sets behind you
And it's getting hard to see
Oh oh oh, the Aurora Lights will guide you
From the mountains to the sea
A preacher in my youth
One night he raised the roof
I stopped and asked why he was trying
Then with a wink of glee
The Reverend Rob said, 'He not
Busy being born is busy dying
Oh oh oh, when the North sun sets behind you
And it's getting hard to see
Oh oh oh, the Aurora Lights will guide you
From the mountains to the sea
On the voyage grand
To the Promised Land
You must take it in your stride
For when the will is found
The moon and stars wish down
Long may you live, long may you ride
Oh oh oh, when the North sun sets behind you
And it's getting hard to see
Oh oh oh, the Aurora Lights will guide you
From the mountains to the sea
