Classic production song with a full spectrum of sounds and emotions

Rexartrefkin

This is a song about running away mentally, then physically, and last-terminally. It is a song of suicide.
There are some born into this world who, after too many instances of being wronged, or simply not able to cope with life as it is, see their lives as naught but an endless cycle of weal, wrong and woe. Thus, they can but only see their time here on Earth as “the long wake of the soul”. The lyrics and music, we believe, eloquently express this observation:
I stand down here beneath the ocean.
Said my piece to the blue sky.
Lost my way walking with people.
Found my peace here in the brine.
The crash I hear-a distant gong,
The sound of something new.
Miles away the Earth divides and
Rocks are split in two.
I swim around the colored coral,
I speak strange words to my new friends.
The Songs of Earth rumble and tremble.
They ask and they ask. They push without end.

The years I’ve spent, they seem so long;
But there’s so much to do.
I will sing my Sorrow Song
And whisper words to you.

Told my friends about my old world,
I told them of love, light and sky.
I told them of war and hatred!
They’ve gone to see it, left me to cry…

I rage into an abyss, now-
A trench deep as depression.
Blackened depths hungrily devour
The last of the sun’s passion.

Blind I race for oblivion
To quench isolation’s pain.
The frigid sea fails to relieve
This fever inside of my brain.

In loneliness I can’t remain.
My sea, now Grave,
This life take, ‘cause as before,
There’s no way out of this play.
