It was a cold dark night in Reykjavík. The year was 1974 I believe. Or was it '75? No matter. Young Mat had been slaving away for hours on a mural he was contracted to make for the seventh annual Reykjavík wine festival. He had gotten maybe 2 hours of sleep in the last 8 days. Needless to say he was slipping slowly into madness. Anyone who knew Mat at the time knew that he was already a little odd. In his current state, however, one would be hard-pressed to differentiate him from a late Charles Manson. His beard thick as the forest shrubbery where he grew up. His hair wild as though he had been struck by a fresh bolt of lightning. In a moment of sheer brilliance bordering complete insanity he jotted down some notes on the back of the canvas he was using to plan the mural. Those words later became known as "Fcking Drones".

I can feel it in my brain somedays & drinkings the only way to forget what i have heard and learned of integrals and right angles & i dont know if im sure that im sure of anything anymore so ill take whats given me quietly and dream of the days before my friend when you would call me on the phone when youd call me just because theres always something on your mind that said my matt what big teeth you have & if youd close youre eyes instead and youd love some just because youd be free a bird can ever be
