I was the first child leader to the mighty army
I never wanted to be born to the family
Its no wonder that I never really wanna die
My birth was a curse… I never knew the father
I survived abortion, the pain of the mother
I never had a home, many days saw the hunger
I guess I was born for a reason and a purpose
Living in the shadow of yesterday and pain
Praying everyday open my eyes so I can see
Everybody living in fantasy and dreams
Am I the only one living reality
Many kids dying everyday in the streets
Hunger, pain and drugs just to survive
Look at the daughters selling the bodies for money
And the government fighting wars with the money
We gat to save the lives of the daughters and the sons
We gat to save the lives of the future of the land
We gat to change our ways, change the lives
Change the things that we need to change to live
we are the ones, we are the people
we are the ones to make a better tomorrow
we are the ones to make a better tomorrow
We are the ones to make a better tomorrow
We are the ones to respond to the call
And let the world live together as one
There are people dying, there are people crying
I am a person asking you to lend a hand
Save a life, save the greatest gift of all
Give a life, give the little kid a smile
Am a part of God’s great big family
