The Winter Song
Last night the snow kept falling
Looks like we’re stuck inside
Winter’s song is calling
Might as well enjoy the ride
Sun’s shining brightly now
Got no place to be
After the storm
I’ll keep you warm
Winter wonderland’s just outside
Ice glistens in the sun
Bright white blanket of snow
storm so pretty when it’s done
at night the wind blew hard
Rattled windows lights went out
hunkered down in the firelight
didn’t get much sleep that night
