Sometimes you're not heartbroken. Sometimes you're not really hurt. You're angry someone played with your emotions. Somebody treated you nice under conditions that it would benefit them later. Pretended to respect your opinions. Wasted your time, because it was pointless before it had even started.
But it taught me to remember my worth. I don't deserve anyone like him. I deserve better.
