A song about escapism

I was driving through Edinburgh city center one Saturday night and saw all the drunk men and women in the streets. It got me thinking what are they escaping from that they need to get quite so messed up. From this came "Monday Too Soon".

It's a friday at 5 and I just got away. The weekend is here time to head out and play. What shall I do to escape from the drudgery. x
