This song wails the blues in every way except in the traiditional I IV V blues progression. Down on the luck fatalistic rant against the life of bad lover choices but yet optimistic in its own way.

Sometimes you just look back on your life and the choices you've made as lovers and say . . . what the hell is the use? Someone once described this song as "Jeff Beck meets Adele." We don't do a lot of blues tunes but we'll take that as a compliment.
