There was a road, that once I travelled No break down lanes and no white lines No crashed out wrecks and bodies ravelled With acts of speed and warning signs. In a whiskey vault, or a morphine bottle In a cocaine cell, there rots a brain In this dark hole, I walk a prisoner Where shadows hide but fear`s remain.
