Ever had your heart broken? Then how about this gentle but sad blues song originally written in 2013, about a relationship destroyed by a partner's constant lies and deceit.

Anna Yanova-Cattoor (Vocals)
Marko Ignjatovic (Acoustic Guitar)
Alex Morissette (Fretless Bass)
Ryan Walters (Drums)

Phillip Foxley (lyrics and musical arrangement)

Remastered Version: (PTF- July 2024)

The inspiration for this song came many years ago after witnessing a good friend go through this exact scenario. The sad part was that she was the last to know. She's so much better now though.
Promises:

I'm so tired of all your promises
and all the lies I've heard for so long.

Now it's time to change the situation
and live my life for me and me alone.

I seem to spend all my days
waiting around for you

You never call or turn up on time
You always let me down, I make excuses for you
I have to say you're no longer on my mind.

I really trusted you
I know you want me to.
But I know just what went wrong
So wrong ....

... I don't need your ...
You can keep your promises
Promises ....

I don't need your promises
I'm better left alone

Promises
Promises

I don't need your promises
I'm better on my own.

You can keep your promises.
