There was a really rough drought this year. There's a wives tale that sunflowers coming in the summer means that there will be a rainy/snowy winter, which was good hopeful news to me. This song has always been on my mind and with the backdrop of 2020 and a hot summer behind us, I thought this was the perfect time to release it.

My sunflower
You know I can't wait for you
Forever
Time after time I'm still
Counting down the hours
I think of the time I fell back in
Your arms
You're my lucky charm
I'm not going anywhere
I wear my heart on my sleeve
I just don't care
I just don't care
I just don't care
My sunflower
You know I can't wait for you
Forever
Time after time I'm still
Counting down the hours I
Think of the time I fell back in
Your arms
What are you waiting for my dear?
I read that
When the flowers grow tall
In the early summer
There'll be enough snow fall
Forests grow forever
Still sometimes I hope we can bloom forever
My sunflower
You know I can't wait for you
Forever
Time after time I'm still
Counting down the hours
I think of the times I fell back in
Your arms
You know I'd wait for you like I wait for rain
It's not like it matters to me anyway
I'm counting the days down
Can't wait to see you now
I'm counting the days down
Can't wait to see you now
