Completely overworked woman getting crazy....good to play during cleaning hours....

Kitchen Stories
All the kids are in the kitchen
They chase the cat thru boards and bins
I am washing dirty dishes
and the fridge needs to be cleaned
There are grease spots on the window
Dingy footsteps on the floor
hoovering is in process
while the postman knocks the door
And I feel that I gasp and pray
Is this the price I have to pay
For all that tiny family
That I wanted to create
There are cobwebs on the ceiling
And there´s garbage in the drain
My phone is ringing shrilly
Its´s my girlfriend on the run
Sweet potatoes wait for peeling
And the dryer peeps again
I am standing in my slippers
And my hair stands on the end
And I feel that I gasp and pray
Is this the price I have to pay
For all that tiny family
That I wanted to create
If someone needs some help, I guess, it´s me
I need a little time to rest my soul, my heart and me
cleaning, cooking, washing no single day for free
I am sure there must be something, a place nearby the sea
Cause I guess if someone needs some rest, it´s me
A holiday, a weekend just for me
Children, dinner, breakfast, no single day for free
I hope that I can find it, my place nearby to be
