A Bottle For Pain The only thing I’ve ever found at the bottom of my beer Is that I have been putting off life for pain. Then why is it that I still sit the next day And order another beer. Chorus- The credits running thing, I don’t think I’m going to win. This losing game I’ll always play, ‘Till I don’t wake up the following day. My lungs are hurting from the smoke, My cough just won’t go away. Maybe tomorrow I will quit these sticks? But still it’s hard to say. (Chorus) The other day I realised that it is worth it to last, And not to dissolve into the past. Yet still I find myself holding back my tears…. At the bottom of my beer. x
